DONA Certified!

I just got notified that I am now a Certified Doula! A lady from DONA called me today to let me know. I am so excited and can't wait to return to the US to begin working as a doula again.

This was perhaps my most unique photo shoot. While his wife was out of town, my neighbor contacted me and asked if I'd take pictures of his four dogs (yes, you read that correct) as a surprise for his wife. And I was crazy enough to agree. :-D

Thanks a lot to my little sister, Promise, for helping me entertain those crazy dogs for the photos!

The R Family

I had so much fun photographing the R family last week. They are a sweet family who truly love each other. And their house and yard were absolutely amazing! However, due to a few unforeseen "glitches," we only had about thirty minutes to take the pictures before the light faded too much.

Chad and Mariah's Wedding!

My good friends Chad and Mariah *finally* got married! I was so privileged to photograph this celebration. Chad and Mariah are so sweet together and absolutely in love. It was also great to have my good friend, Brittany, help me as a second shooter. All together, we got almost 3,000 pictures. I guess that's what happens when I discover that my camera can go "click, click, click" extremely fast. :-D
